At the OTK Games Expo today, Mad Mushroom revealed our next publishing title: To Kill a God, an action roguelike from Glitch Factory!
You play as a Traveler, stuck in the Death Spiral and doomed to try and try again to escape. The catch? You’ll have to kill a god to do it. Check out the game’s fast and fluid combat, roguelike and RPG mechanics, and unique SkillMap system in the new trailer:
Slice, shoot, dodge, and cast your way through fast-paced battles. After each fight, plot their next move on a combination of skill tree and world map, building out your character with each stop. Death means the end of the run, and starting fresh on a new SkillMap.

To Kill a God features:
- Carve Your Path: Every path you carve, every node you unlock, and every route you choose on the SkillMap defines your character’s power and playstyle.
- Art of Combat: Master the art of To Kill a God’s, fast, fluid, and unforgivable combat, combining your unique skill set to crush hordes of enemies and conquer powerful bosses.
- Limitless Builds: Collect loot, combine skills, craft enhancements, and experiment with different recipes to discover your preferred path to greatness.
- Escape the Death Spiral: Explore a twisted realm of forgotten warriors, mad cults, and tyrannical demigods on your quest to escape the cycle.
After a successful demo during Steam Next Fest in November, To Kill A God is once again playable with a new demo now available on Steam. Players of the original demo will find more varied levels, new systems and events, new skills, and a new playable melee character.
